HATTIE ESHLEMAN
The Portable Home Project
“Humans seem to need to carry home with them, to make themselves at home wherever they go. Without 'home' it seems, there can be no life.” -Faith Wilding, Monsterous Domesticity
During the walk of life we all experience various forms of displacement. A wide scale between the fully established and the fully homeless exists in our world and our culture. At some point in each of our lives we all play the role of the nomad, whether it’s for only a few hours or for many years. What might it look like if you could take the concept of “home” with you?
